A friend and I created this game concept as our project in the 4th semester.

 

An old woman lives in the woods with a lot of cats, but it is not like it seems to be.

This granny is not just a nice old lady with a lot of love for feline. She is a gangster - a gangster cat lady with feline minions.

Now the gangster cat lady was captured and thrown into prison, but her loyal cats want to break her out.

 

I was responsible for modelling and animation while my partner did the coding in Unity.

The Cats

We came up with five cats each of them with an individual set of skills as well as a special trait.

Overall there are five skills:

  • sneak
  • strength
  • speed
  • perception
  • fight

The player would have to choose which cat could be most successful in a mission, depending on the missiontype some cats are more or less suitable.

The skills can be trained and the special trait can be upgraded. The individual special trait each cat is equipped with can be used on missions and might help to finish it successfully.

3D Model "Missionhouse" & small Assets

This was the first time I did a 3D model of a building.

We made the game in 3D, but in a 2D gamestyle. So I only had to create a few rooms with the fourth wall missing.

 

For this missionhouse we chose a mansion with a gallery in the attic so the player could find some valuable objects.

 

I also created some smaller assets we needed like a safe, surveillance camera or feedingdish.

The rest of the furniture we got from the Unity Store since there was just no enough time during the semester to model all of it myself.
